Living in an interfaith, marriage can be hell. I am dating a wonderful man, amazing. I cried when I showed the end of a rescue reenactment in my class last week. He was home alone on his one day off while I took off with our kids to visit family states away. She doesn't want to marry you. Just like having children, you don't know what you have until you live it. When you said that the doctor spouse sacrifices for their patients and their family sacrifices for the doctor's career, it really described my situation. I forgot to add, that if you marry and alow your children to be raised as Mormon, chances are you wont be able to be at their wedding because it will be in the temple. I'm raising great kids alone I'm alone at all those same events It's been a huge personal sacrifice to support my husband all these years. Sure it's lonely and hard work being a "single parent".

The woman provides advice and counsel but doesn't preside. There is much that needs to change and many hearts to educate but if we doubt some of the fundamentals then why not all of them.
The Mormon church is certainly a time consuming church. So we took the kids camping. I only hate one thing in the planet, and that's the Mormon church. She was masterful at hiding the cuts and bruises with clothing. And I don't have issues with her, hell, haven't even seen her in over 20 years, but the experience with the whole Mormon thing gave me better insight in to many things in life. I honoured this request and did not contact her until after her exams finished. Anything she learned about mormonsim, she wanted to learn on her own. It would likely be seen as a trial in her life. It is tempting for Mormon girls to become lazy because they have such a high standard compared to typical girls. Though, not everyone is looking for a free lunch out of a marriage.
Cuddling is not demanding. I don't think we are going to end up being friends but I'll get over that. Disney gives them the fantasy where they can easily achieve a standard of perfection with low risk. Due to their religious teachings, Mormons do not smoke, drink alcohol or caffeinated "hot drinks" coffee or tea or do drugs. My beliefs have changed several times in my life, but not those things, so my interfaith marriage has lasted 25 years. Mormonism is an all-in religion. We've only been dating for a short time. Interfaith marriage is but one variety of the learning experience.
